when i try to burn a cd in windows media player, it says another programme or application might not be responding and there for i can't do anything.
it's confusing for me, because i never had anything running in the first place.
may this require a re instilation of media player?
It won't be the question of a physical component breaking, it seems more like a problem with media player. Try using something like winamp and see if that helps.
